UK Basketball Twitter reactions to embarrassing loss to Alabama Crimson Tide

The Kentucky Wildcats had their second SEC road test on Saturday as they moved on to take on the No. 7 tier Alabama Crimson Tide.

It was a disastrous start for the Cats as they quickly fell behind 11-2 and looked lost at both ends of the field.

However, Kentucky eventually went on the defensive and forced Alabama into numerous misses, putting them back 14-11 at the end of under-12 media.

Neither team was performing very well offensively, and Kentucky found themselves just 16-15 at the Under-8 timeout.

Unfortunately, the end of the half was about as bad as the start of the half for the Cats.

Alabama forced turnovers and converted in transition as they extended their lead before the break by leading them 35-24.

The second half was one of the Cats’ most embarrassing performances this season.

Alabama completely outplayed the Cats at both ends of the field for the entire half and the lead continued to grow.

Kentucky’s offense was miserable to watch every game, as Jimmy Dykes said on the show, “even when Kentucky scores, it looks like an accident.”

Kentucky finished the game shooting 28.8 percent from the floor, 25 percent from three, and 62.5 percent from the free throw line as they were knocked off the field in Alabama losing it 78-52.
