Sports News: Cardinals ranked as top candidates for Sean Payton
Vinnie Iyer wrote: “The Cardinals are No. 1 with one ball. The team should leave Kliff Kingsbury after a disappointing season and look for another offensive-minded coach to attach to quarterback Kyler Murray.
Payton made it work for many seasons with another type of undersized QB in New Orleans, Drew Brees. He could find the right combination of various passes and runs to get the most out of the Cardinals offense. Fangio’s influence could also increase passing efficiency and play quotient on a 3-4 basis. It’s the perfect fit for Payton.”
