As he rehabilitated his foot over the past two days, missing practice, running back Nick Chubb did not receive an injury designation. That means he’s ready to go on Christmas Eve, looking to bring good news of comfort and joy to the whole city of Cleveland.

Another star who missed training this week due to illness, Myles Garrett will also be set to leave after he was not given an injury plan. The Browns get their two best players from each side of football in this Week 16 game.

After leaving the game against the Ravens with a thigh injury forcing a fumble, safety John Johnson III also missed practice all week. He now receives a questionable designation this weekend against the Saints.

If Johnson III can’t go, expect Ronnie Harrison to replace the Browns in the third tier of their defense. As Harrison has struggled this season, the Browns would be in much better shape if Johnson III was ready to leave.

Defensive end Jadeveon Clowney left in the first half of the game against the Ravens with a concussion. Sitting all week while he works through concussion protocol, it’s no surprise to see Clowney ruled out in this game against the Saints.

A week ago, Alex Wright and Chase Winovich rotated by possession after Clowney went down. Expect Isaiah Thomas to be active in this game after also being knocked out last week.
