IdeaPad 5 Pro with AMD Zen4 and NVIDIA Ada
It’s now official, the first laptops with AMD’s new Ryzen 7000HS and 7000U mobile series have just been announced.

Lenovo is spilling the beans on its next-gen IdeaPad 5 series. Not only has the laptop maker confirmed which AMD CPU variants will be packed into the new laptops, but the company has also confirmed the first GeForce RTX 40 mobile GPU. One thing is clear, neither AMD nor NVIDIA will be happy about this. leak.
Product specs for the IdeaPad Pro 5 and Slim 5 series have been confirmed through official datasheets, which were conveniently included in the official press release showcasing upcoming products at CES 2023. Lenovo confirms up to seven processors Different Ryzen 7000:

It looks like two of them will feature Zen4 CPU architecture, while the others will be based on Zen3. The HS series should be 35W TDP by default, while the U series should be around 15W, which makes sense since the latter fits into the much thinner chassis of the IdeaPad Slim 5.
Lenovo doesn’t confirm the specs for these series of laptop processors, but we have to learn that the Pro system will eventually feature the GeForce RTX 4050 GPU. There’s no mention of the graphics card configuration, not even a memory size, but it is listed alongside RTX 3050 with 6 GB. Such a configuration of this Ampere GPU does not exist yet, but it was mentioned recently in a major leak.

According to Lenovo, the IdeaPad Pro 5 14 and IdeaPad Pro 5 16 will be available from May 2023 at prices starting at €1,099.
