DaVinci Resolve for iPad now available on the App Store

Popular video editing application DaVinci Resolve for iPad is now available on the App Storeallowing ‌iPad‌ customers to access a popular professional-grade video editing application directly on their ‌iPad‌.

DaVinci Resolve for ‌iPad‌ was announced in October 2022 and is designed to be optimized for iPads with Apple silicone chips, like the new iPad Pro with the M2 chip and the previous generation ‌iPad Pro‌ and ipad airboth powered by M1.

Designed for the new ‌M2‌ ‌iPad Pro‌, Blackmagic, makers of DaVinci Resolve, claims the app will deliver 4x faster Ultra HD ProRes rendering on the new ‌iPad Pro‌ with ‌M2‌, with other similar improvements coming to iPads based on M1.

Compared to DaVinci Resolve 18 desktop software, DaVinci Resolve for ‌iPad‌ offers similar features and tools, with slight changes in the user interface to better suit the ‌iPad‌. DaVinci Resolve for ‌iPad‌ is available for free on the App Storewith an in-app purchase that unlocks the Studio version for $95.
